My name is Lauren Jackson, and I am the professional photographer behind LJ Jackson Photography. I’ve recently obtained a BA in Media Production from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Animals and photography are two of my favorite things, and combining both to produce an image set that truly captures an animal’s personality is the best feeling in the world, both for me and for my clients.
Outside of photographing your furry friends, I spend my days taking pictures of wildlife, pet sitting through Rover.com, and coaching rock climbing.
In addition to a BS majoring in Media Production, I have a Certificate in Animals and Society from CU Boulder. I have always been an animal lover, but now have the professional credentials to engage with and photograph them. I grew up with several pets - from dogs to guinea pigs to frogs - and I professionally pet sit dogs, cats, and a large variety of small and caged animals.
I have extensive experience with animals of all types, from the local (and non-local) Colorado wildlife, to domestic animals such as pets and farm animals. I photograph (and love on) various farm animals at Luvin’ Arms Sanctuary in Erie, CO.
I work hard to ensure that your pet has a good experience during their photoshoot, and make sure to acclimate your furry friend to both myself and the camera before I begin taking any photos. A comfortable experience for your pet is the number one priority, and producing professional quality portraits is a close second!
